The dream of actually getting into the service industry started when I was young, around 14 at the time I had a passion of figuring out how things worked and people found out about things, so I started learning how. I started asking questions to people out of curiosity about why people did it a certain way, and realized from there half the people learnt from someone else how to do something one way so I decided to start learning how to push boundaries and figure out new methods.
After spending close to a year learning new methods when I was 15, I decided to start a little media project online, it wasn't meant for money but for just a hub server online, it went well for a while but it didn't feel right to me since there where so many little elements I still needed to improve on so in the long run it got scrapped but I learnt from it
In 2021 and 2022 I spent my time doing freelance work, it was enjoyable and it taught me responsibility of working for myself and managing my own time. This was done to teach me how things work first hand in the real world, where money goes and how it actually works what was all valuable lessons to learn.
2023 was a weird time, at the start of 2023 I started working with Social media companies in America to increase their sales performances. I would work with on average 5-10 companies a day, and usually spend around 2 weeks per company and only get paid on results. I done this for a while and then I launched a test project on the side to see how people handle commision only remote work and it taught that people do not see value untill it is in front of them since the majority wanted an easier path in life, it also taught me that this journey would be a lonely one.
From the start of 2024 i decided to take a break for a while for around 6 months since I was working on things like this since I was 12 so I stopped mentoring businesses in America and dedicated time towards other aspects. at around July I started the concept of walkden service finders and got it working, we would connect US and UK companies together, meaning that Uk companies could offer the same quality services, with unlimited scalability for outsourcing it. That idea did not work in the long run since trumps tarrif announcement causes a shutdown of the market.
After that, I went back to the drawing board and started re figuring out how can I o this, what lead me to what Walkden Service finders is today. I remembered about a major issue I had with market saturation, and how hard it was to navigate it that made people feel uncomftable since they where not on equal footing with the company offering a service, thats what I am fixing.
